About Me

A J Lopez III is the Assistant Director of Digital Marketing & Social Media for Midwestern State University. He creates social marketing campaigns and produces eye-catching photos and engaging content for the university’s social media. Previously, Lopez worked as the Communications and Marketing person for the Angelo State University Alumni Association. Lopez has a newspaper background from his early days as a reporter and photographer for the “The Portland News.”

Lopez is a published writer and award-winning photographer with more than 16 years of experience in the creative marketing field. In 2014, he married his beautiful wife Teresa, with whom they have two young children named Jay and Manu and a black Labrador Retriever named Ace.
